Microsoft 365 integrations: PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Connect your Microsoft account

Before you can use Microsoft 365 integrations, you need to connect your Microsoft account to Screenbird.

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar
  2. Click on Connect Microsoft Account
  3. You will be redirected to Microsoft's login page
  4. Sign in with your Microsoft account
  5. Grant Screenbird permission to access your OneDrive, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  6. You will be redirected back to Screenbird

Your Microsoft account is now connected.

Add PowerPoint Online

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on Add app
  3. Search for PowerPoint Online
  4. Click on PowerPoint Online
  5. Select the presentation you want to display
  6. Configure the settings:

- Auto-advance slides: Enable to automatically move to the next slide

- Slide duration: Set how long each slide is displayed (in seconds)

- Transition: Choose a transition effect between slides

  1. Click Add

The PowerPoint presentation is now added to your content library.

Add Excel Online

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on Add app
  3. Search for Excel Online
  4. Click on Excel Online
  5. Select the spreadsheet you want to display
  6. (Optional) Select a specific range of cells to display
  7. Configure the settings:

- Refresh rate: How often the data is updated

- Zoom: Adjust the zoom level for readability

  1. Click Add

The Excel spreadsheet is now added to your content library.

Add Outlook Calendar

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on Add app
  3. Search for Outlook Calendar
  4. Click on Outlook Calendar
  5. Select which calendar to display
  6. Configure the settings:

- View: Choose between month, week, or day view

- Refresh rate: How often the calendar is updated

  1. Click Add

The Outlook Calendar is now added to your content library.

Add SharePoint

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on Add app
  3. Search for SharePoint
  4. Click on SharePoint
  5. Browse and select the file or page you want to display
  6. Click Add

The SharePoint file is now added to your content library.

Add Power BI

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on Add app
  3. Search for Power BI
  4. Click on Power BI
  5. Select the dashboard or report you want to display
  6. Configure the settings:

- Refresh rate: How often the data is updated

  1. Click Add

The Power BI dashboard is now added to your content library.

Update or remove Microsoft content

To update a Microsoft 365 item:

  1. Find the item in your Content library
  2. Click on Edit
  3. Make your changes
  4. Click Save

To remove it:

  1. Find the item in your Content library
  2. Click the Delete button
  3. Confirm the deletion

Troubleshooting

I don't see my PowerPoint presentation

  • Make sure you are logged in with the Microsoft account that owns the presentation
  • Make sure the presentation is in your OneDrive
  • Refresh the list of presentations

The content is not updating

  • Check the refresh rate setting
  • Verify that your Microsoft account is still connected
  • Try removing and re-adding the content

I need to disconnect my Microsoft account

  1. Go to Integrations
  2. Find the Microsoft integration
  3. Click Disconnect
  4. All Microsoft content will stop updating
  5. You can reconnect at any time
