Templates by industry

The Designer holds 35 ready-made templates, spread across 7 industries with 5 templates each. Every template comes in a landscape and a portrait version. You pick one while you create a new design, through Files > New > New design.

Picking a template

1. Go to Files and click New > New design.
2. Enter a name under Design name.
3. Under Orientation, choose Landscape or Portrait.
4. Under Resolution, choose Full HD or 4K.
5. Click the industry whose templates you want to see, or search by name. All shows every template, and Blank design starts you off without one.
6. Click the template, then click Create design.

New design only appears in the New menu on desktop, not on mobile.

The templates per industry

Retail: Product Spotlight, New Arrivals, Opening Hours & Contact, Customer Testimonial, Seasonal Campaign.

Hospitality: Menu Board, Daily Special, Happy Hour, Scan & Order, Event Poster.

Fitness: Class Schedule, Trainer Spotlight, Membership, Masterclass, Motivation.

Office: Welcome, Company News, Townhall & Drinks, New Hire, Milestone.

Education: Open Day, Match Day, Student of the Month, Club Activity, Exam Reminder.

Healthcare: Doctor Spotlight, Health Tip, Prevention Campaign, Clinic Info, Awareness Day.

Real estate: Featured Listing, Open House, Just Sold, Agent Spotlight, Neighborhood Stats.

Applying a template to an existing design

Open the design and go to the Templates panel in the Designer's left toolbar. Click a template to apply it. If the canvas already has content on it, Screenbird first asks Overwrite design?, with the option Overwrite. The template is scaled to your canvas, and the landscape or portrait version follows the orientation of your design.

Making a template your own

1. Replace the sample text with your own wording.
2. Replace the sample images with your own visuals.
3. Adjust the colors. Once you have brand settings, your brand colors sit in every color picker as fixed swatches.
4. Adjust the font. Your brand fonts sit at the top of the list, with your own uploaded fonts below them.
