Organize content in folders

Create a folder

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on New folder
  3. Enter a name for your folder (e.g., "Videos", "Images", "Presentations")
  4. Click Create

Your new folder has been created.

Add content to a folder

Method 1: Upload directly to a folder

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Open the folder where you want to add content
  3. Click on Upload
  4. Select the files you want to upload
  5. Click Upload

Method 2: Move existing content to a folder

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Find the content you want to move
  3. Right-click on the content and select Move
  4. Select the destination folder
  5. Click Move

Create subfolders

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Open the folder where you want to create a subfolder
  3. Click on New folder
  4. Enter a name for the subfolder
  5. Click Create

You can create multiple levels of subfolders to organize your content hierarchically.

Rename a folder

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Right-click on the folder you want to rename
  3. Click on Rename
  4. Enter the new name
  5. Click Save

Move a folder

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Right-click on the folder you want to move
  3. Click on Move
  4. Select the destination folder (or keep it at the root level)
  5. Click Move

Delete a folder

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Right-click on the folder you want to delete
  3. Click on Delete
  4. Confirm the deletion

Note: Deleting a folder will also delete all content inside it. This action cannot be undone.

Organize by type

Here are some suggestions for organizing your content:

  • By screen location: Reception, Meeting Room 1, Cafeteria, etc.
  • By content type: Videos, Images, Presentations, Designs, etc.
  • By campaign: Spring Sale 2024, Holiday Campaign, etc.
  • By department: Marketing, HR, Operations, etc.
  • By season: Summer, Winter, Holiday, etc.

Tips

  • Use clear and descriptive folder names
  • Create a folder structure that makes sense for your team
  • Archive old content in an "Archive" folder instead of deleting it
  • Use consistent naming conventions across folders
  • Keep your top-level folder structure simple (5-10 folders maximum)
