News ticker

Display live news headlines from major news sources around the world.

Add a news ticker

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on Add app
  3. Search for News
  4. Select your preferred news source (BBC, Reuters, AP News, etc.)
  5. Configure the settings:

- Refresh rate: How often the news is updated

- Colors: Choose colors for the ticker

- Speed: Control how fast the ticker moves

  1. Click Add

Weather app

Display the current weather and forecast for any location.

Add weather

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on Add app
  3. Search for Weather
  4. Enter the location (city, country)
  5. Configure the settings:

- Units: Celsius or Fahrenheit

- Forecast days: Show 1-7 days of forecast

- Display style: Choose between different layouts

  1. Click Add

Clock app

Display an analog or digital clock.

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on Add app
  3. Search for Clock
  4. Configure the settings:

- Style: Analog or digital

- Timezone: Select the timezone

- Format: 12-hour or 24-hour

- Colors: Customize colors

  1. Click Add

Exchange rates

Display currency exchange rates in real-time.

Add exchange rates

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on Add app
  3. Search for Exchange Rates
  4. Select your base currency
  5. Select which currencies to display
  6. Configure the settings:

- Refresh rate: How often rates are updated

- Display style: Choose between table or ticker

  1. Click Add

Stocks

Display stock market data and prices.

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on Add app
  3. Search for Stocks
  4. Select which stocks to display
  5. Configure the settings:

- Refresh rate: How often prices are updated

- Display style: Choose between list or chart

  1. Click Add

Flight information

Display live flight status and airport information.

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar
  2. Click on Add app
  3. Search for Flights
  4. Select your airport
  5. Configure the settings:

- Display arrivals/departures: Choose which flights to show

- Refresh rate: How often information is updated

  1. Click Add

Tips for information apps

  • Combine multiple information apps in one design using the Designer
  • Use appropriate colors and fonts for good readability
  • Set refresh rates appropriately (news every 30 minutes, weather every hour, clock real-time)
  • Test the app on your screen before deploying to ensure readability from a distance
