Create a playlist for narrowcasting

What is a playlist?

A playlist is a collection of content items (videos, images, apps, presentations, etc.) that are displayed one after another on your screen. You can create multiple playlists and assign them to different screens or time slots.

Create a new playlist

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar.
  2. Click on Playlists.
  3. Click on Create playlist.
  4. Enter a name for your playlist (e.g., "Reception", "Office", "Lobby").
  5. Click Create.

Your new playlist has been created and is now ready for content.

Add content to your playlist

  1. Go to Playlists and click on the playlist you want to edit.
  2. Click on Add content.
  3. Select the type of content:

- Video - Upload a video file or select one from your library

- Image - Upload an image or select one from your library

- Text - Create a text slide

- App - Add one of the built-in apps

- Design - Create a custom design using the Designer

  1. Click Add.

The content will be added to the end of the playlist.

Change the order of content

  1. Go to Playlists and click on the playlist you want to edit.
  2. Hover over the content item you want to move.
  3. Drag it to the new position.

The order of the content has been updated.

Change display time

  1. Go to Playlists and click on the playlist you want to edit.
  2. Click on the content item you want to modify.
  3. Find the Display time option.
  4. Set the desired duration (in seconds).
  5. Click Save.

The content will now be displayed for the specified duration.

Remove content from a playlist

  1. Go to Playlists and click on the playlist you want to edit.
  2. Hover over the content item you want to remove.
  3. Click the Delete button.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

The content has been removed from the playlist.

Delete a playlist

  1. Go to Playlists.
  2. Hover over the playlist you want to delete.
  3. Click the Delete button.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

The playlist has been deleted. Note: The content items in the playlist are not deleted, only the playlist itself.

Duplicate a playlist

  1. Go to Playlists.
  2. Hover over the playlist you want to duplicate.
  3. Click the Duplicate button.

A copy of the playlist has been created with all the content.
