How do I connect a digital signage screen?

Open the player

Open the browser on the device connected to your screen and go to:

player.screenbird.app

You will see a login screen.

Log in with your Screenbird account

  1. Enter your Screenbird email address
  2. Enter your password
  3. If you have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, enter the code from your authentication app
  4. Click Log in

After successfully logging in, you will see a list of your screens.

Select a screen

  1. Click on the screen you want to connect
  2. The device will connect to the screen and start displaying any scheduled content

The device is now connected and will display content scheduled for that screen.

Disconnect a screen

To disconnect a screen:

  1. Click on the menu in the player (usually a hamburger menu or settings icon)
  2. Select Log out or Disconnect

Reconnect to a different screen

  1. Log out of the player
  2. Log in again with your email and password
  3. Select a different screen from the list

Troubleshooting

I see a blank screen or error message

  • Check that your internet connection is working
  • Verify that you entered the correct email address and password
  • Refresh the page and try again

The content is not updating

  • Make sure the screen is connected to the player
  • Verify that content is scheduled for this screen
  • Check that your internet connection is stable
  • Refresh the player or restart the device

I can't see my screen in the list

  • Make sure you are logged in with the correct account
  • Verify that the screen has been created in the Screenbird dashboard
  • If the screen was just created, wait a few seconds and refresh the page
