Create an account and log in

Create an account

  1. Go to screenbird.app and click on Sign up.
  2. Choose how you want to register:

- Email - Enter your name, email address, and password.

- Google - Sign up with your Google account.

- Microsoft - Sign up with your Microsoft account.

- Apple - Sign up with your Apple account.

  1. Read and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  2. Click Create account.

You have successfully created your Screenbird account\!

Verify your email

An email will be sent to your email address with a verification link. Click the link to verify your email address. This step is required to activate your account.

If you don't see the email:

  • Check your spam folder
  • Click Resend verification email on the login page

Log in

  1. Go to screenbird.app and click on Log in.
  2. Enter your email address and password.
  3. If you have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, enter the code from your authentication app.
  4. Click Log in.

You are now logged into your Screenbird account.

Reset your password

If you have forgotten your password:

  1. Go to the login page and click on Forgot your password?.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Click Send reset link.
  4. An email will be sent to your email address with a reset link.
  5. Click the link in the email.
  6. Enter your new password and confirm it.
  7. Click Reset password.

Your password has been reset. You can now log in with your new password.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account.

Enable 2FA

  1. Go to Settings > Security.
  2. Click on Enable 2FA.
  3. Scan the QR code with your authentication app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator).
  4. Enter the 6-digit code from your authentication app.
  5. Click Verify.

Two-factor authentication is now enabled on your account.

Backup codes

When you enable 2FA, you will receive backup codes. Save these codes in a safe place. If you lose access to your authentication app, you can use these codes to log in to your account.

Log out

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner.
  2. Click Log out.

You have been logged out of your Screenbird account.
