Everything about connecting a OneDrive file and keeping it current on a Screenbird screen.

The screen follows. Upload a new version under the same name and the app notices the file changed, then loads it at the next refresh. That is the whole point of this app: the person who owns the document controls the screen, without ever opening Screenbird.
Images (jpg, png, gif, bmp, webp, svg), PDFs, and video (mp4, mov, mkv, webm and the common older formats). Word, Excel and PowerPoint files are not in that list on purpose: each has its own Screenbird app that renders the document properly instead of offering it as a download.
Not necessarily. Sign in with Microsoft for the file picker, or set the file's sharing to a public link and paste that link into the setup form. Both work. A personal Microsoft account is fine here, unlike our SharePoint app.
No. A refresh that finds the same file leaves the video playing. It only reloads when the file itself has actually changed.
At the next refresh, which you set yourself anywhere from every 1 to 60 minutes. The default is 5, so a replaced file is usually on the wall within five minutes.
A PDF is shown as a document on screen. If you need pages to advance on a timer with transitions, the Word and PowerPoint apps are built around that, and the Excel app cycles a workbook page by page.
Yes. Scale offers Fill, Fit, Stretch, and Original, and there is a zoom control for trimming an unwanted border. Fill covers the screen and crops the overflow; Fit shows the whole file with space around it.
Yes, in two ways. Add them to a playlist so they follow each other, or use Split Screen to give each file its own zone on the same screen.
An uploaded file is a copy: to change it you upload again. A OneDrive app stays linked to the original: to change it you replace the file where it already lives. Upload when the content is final, connect OneDrive when someone else keeps it current.
Yes. Use Scheduling to put it on screen at specific times, for example a lunch menu at midday, and show other content the rest of the day.
