Frequently asked questions

Everything about connecting and displaying Google Slides on a Screenbird screen.

No. You can sign in with Google for the full picker experience, or set your presentation's sharing to "Anyone with the link" and paste that link instead. Both are supported.
Yes, in both modes, though the mechanism differs. A presentation shared as "Anyone with the link" plays through Google's own live embed, so edits show up on Google's own schedule. A presentation connected through your Google account is checked again automatically in the background; there is no interval for you to set.
Set how many seconds each slide stays on screen, anywhere from 1 to 60; the default is 5. The deck then loops on its own, from the first slide to the last and back to the first.
Yes, for presentations connected with your Google account: choose from several styles, including a fade, a slide, a flip, and a gallery effect, plus a transition speed. If your presentation is shared publicly, Google's own transitions and slide timing take over instead.
It always plays through the whole deck in order and loops back to the start. There is no way to show only a single slide.
Yes. Screenbird has a separate PowerPoint app alongside Google Slides, with a similar setup.
Yes, with Split Screen. Divide the screen into zones and assign a different presentation to each one.
Any of the 11 platforms Screenbird supports. Amazon's Signage Stick and the Fire TV Stick 4K are the simplest plug-and-play options, and smart TVs with Google or Android TV, Windows, Mac, Linux, and even a regular browser work just as well.
Yes. Add it to a playlist alongside images and videos, or give it its own Split Screen zone.
Yes. Use Scheduling to show the presentation at specific times, for example only during business hours, and switch to other content the rest of the day.
Yes. Every account starts with a free trial. A card is required upfront, and you pay nothing if you cancel within the trial period.
EUR 15 per screen per month, or EUR 12 per screen per month with annual billing, excl. VAT. Every feature is included on every plan, no extra cost per app.
Yes. Invite team members with their own role (owner, admin, or user) so more than one person can update the presentation or push it to screens.
