Frequently asked questions

Everything about connecting and displaying a Google Calendar on a Screenbird screen.

No. You can sign in with Google for the full picker experience, or set your calendar's sharing to public and paste that link into the setup form instead. Both are supported.
Four: an agenda list of upcoming events, or a single day, week, or month grid. Pick whichever reads best on your screen.
Yes, in agenda view. Set it anywhere from 1 to 90 days ahead; 14 days is the default.
You set it yourself, anywhere from every 1 to 60 minutes; the default is 5. A new event shows on screen at the next refresh, so with a 5-minute interval your change is live within 5 minutes.
On modern player platforms, the screen keeps showing the last successfully loaded view through a brief connection drop. It does need an active connection to actually refresh with new data though, so this is not the same guarantee as Screenbird's offline mode for uploaded videos and images, which plays indefinitely without internet.
Each app connects one calendar. To show several at once, use Split Screen and assign a different calendar to each zone.
Yes. Both the on-screen clock and the event location are optional toggles you set when configuring the app.
Only the calendar you choose to connect appears, exactly as its events are titled. There is no redaction on top, so treat the connected calendar as public-facing: put a shared team, venue, or location calendar on screen, and keep personal calendars off it.
Yes. Choose from 12 supported languages for dates and day names on screen, independent of the language your own dashboard is set to.
Yes. Screenbird has a separate Outlook Calendar app that connects the same way, with a Microsoft account or a public link.
Any of the 11 platforms Screenbird supports. Amazon's Signage Stick and the Fire TV Stick 4K are the simplest plug-and-play options, and smart TVs with Google or Android TV, Windows, Mac, Linux, and even a regular browser work just as well.
Yes. Every account starts with a free trial. A card is required upfront, and you pay nothing if you cancel within the trial period.
EUR 15 per screen per month, or EUR 12 per screen per month with annual billing, excl. VAT. Every feature is included on every plan, no extra cost per app.
Yes. Invite team members with their own role (owner, admin, or user) so more than one person can update the calendar connection or push it to screens.
