Screenbird and Yodeck both run reliable digital signage, but they package it differently. Screenbird puts every feature, including live screen mirroring and its full catalog of Google and Microsoft data apps, on one plan at EUR 12 per screen per month billed annually, so nothing sits behind a higher tier as your needs grow.
Yodeck is a mature, widely reviewed platform with genuine strengths: a free Raspberry Pi player on annual plans, unlimited storage, and even a free plan for a single screen. It does not offer live screen mirroring, though, and several of its capabilities are spread across its Basic, Premium, and Enterprise tiers. If you want every capability available from day one without tier-shopping, Screenbird is the simpler choice.

Screen mirroring: built in vs. not available
Screenbird includes live screen mirroring on every plan, from any desktop browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari), with no extra app or hardware to buy. The connection is peer-to-peer: someone in a meeting room or classroom shares their laptop screen straight to the TV in a few clicks, and the video stream never passes through Screenbird's servers.
Yodeck does not offer live screen mirroring. It has been an open feature request on Yodeck's public feedback board since 2019, and while its status there is Accepted, it has not shipped. Teams that need ad-hoc "share my laptop to the lobby TV" moments have to work around it with separate hardware or software.
If screen mirroring is a requirement rather than a nice-to-have, this is the single clearest difference between the two platforms.
Pricing and feature access
Screenbird charges one flat rate per screen, EUR 12 per screen per month billed annually (EUR 15 billed monthly), with every feature included from day one: screen mirroring, split screen, scheduling, proof of play, and the full app catalog. There is no higher tier to unlock more capability, so the price you see is the price you pay as you scale.
Yodeck spreads its capability across three tiers: Basic at USD 8, Premium at USD 12, and Enterprise at USD 16 per screen per month, with the same rate whether you bill monthly or annually (annual plans add a free Raspberry Pi player rather than a discount). That structure genuinely suits teams who only need basic playback today, but it also means the sticker price alone does not tell you what you actually get until you check which tier includes it.
Concretely, per Yodeck's own pricing and features pages: its Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and data-visualization apps start at Premium rather than Basic, API access and webhooks require Premium and up, and SSO and custom roles sit in Enterprise. On Screenbird, the equivalent data apps (Google Sheets, Google Slides, Power BI, and more) are included on every plan.
Dashboard languages: who can actually use it
Screenbird's dashboard ships in 15 languages, including Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Polish, so a multilingual team can each manage screens in their own language rather than translating around the interface. The dashboard itself is fully translated, not just the marketing site around it.
Yodeck's dashboard is also translated into a comparable set of languages, but per its own supported-languages documentation (last updated July 2025), that set does not include Spanish, Chinese, Korean, or Polish. If your screen managers work in one of those four languages, this difference decides day-to-day usability more than any feature checklist.
